Sunny Beach is Bulgaria's most famous seaside resort. It is located some 30km from Burgas International Airport and is home to the most vibrant and diverse night life in Bulgaria during the summer. There are many properties in Sunny Beach for those who don't mind the noise, tourists and non-stop partying. Most properties are close to the beach, however there are some quite far away. The resort is operational during the Summer - mostly from May to September which makes it unsuitable for all year round use. Properties start at 20 000 euro for studios and average around 45 - 60 000 euro for one bedroom apartments. Just north of Sunny Beach, Nessebar is a Unesco World Heritage site. It's roots go back 3200 years and it Old Town with its cobbled streets, cosy restaurants overlooking the sea and many small craft shops is extremely popular among tourists. Nessebar's New Town offers many small residences and a few complexes most of which are a walking distance from the beaches. Similarly to Sunny Beach, the resort is operational in the summer months and is not suitable for all year round use. Burgas is the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and the fourth largest in the country. It is the capital of Burgas province and is an important industrial, transport, cultural and tourist centre. It is conveniently located some 10km away from Burgas International Airport, where there are numerous charter flights during the season and regular flights all year round. Burgas is by far the most appropriate city for all-year round living. Its proximity to the resorts also makes it a top choice for pensioners. The town features several hospitals and rehabilitation centres that are known by patients from all over the world and are used all year round.
